There are rotisserie heroes and fantasy goats. But some performances are so ugly, egregious or plain perplexing that it begs the refrain: What the F--k! Here is Update's seriously twisted moment this week.

In case you didn't notice, UPDATE! loves picking on the Evil Empire er, New York Yankees. And no one offers up more tabloid fodder than starter Carl Pavano. After a reputation-defying spring and modest start to the regular season, Pavano made news again this week. Yep, he's injured and headed to the disabled list. Both Pavano and ace Mike Mussina were placed on the 15-day DL on Sunday. Pavano, who hadn't pitched since June 2005 because of an assortment of ailments, has soreness in his right forearm. He opened this season 1-0 in two starts, giving Yankees fans hope for a turnaround. WTF! He's Calamity Carl for a reason. Like Pavano's sore forearm, it's best that Yankees fans shut down all expectations until further notice.
