POSTED 10-6-07

Our weekly digest of everything fantasy baseball. Facts don't lie and The Lineup is full of 'em. Projections for the week of Oct. 6- Oct 13. Stats through Sept. 5:

YORVIT TORREALBA
Colorado Rockies, C
Comment: Expect Torrealba to hit well based on his regular season stats this year against Philadelphia: .389 AVG, 0 HR, 5 RBI, 4 R, 0 SB in five games.

KEVIN YOUKILIS
Boston Red Sox, 1B
Comment: Earned his first post-season hit in style with a solo homer. You just get that feeling that he is going to be an important cog to the Red Sox offense.

KAZUO MATSUI
Colorado Rockies, 2B
Comment: Hit a huge grand-slam on Thursday and there is reason to believe he'll keep it going. His home stats in 2007 were great: .330 AVG, 4 HR, 25 RBI, 45 R, 14 SB in 49 games.

STEPHEN DREW
Arizona Diamondbacks, SS
Comment: Started off his post-season career with a bang, homering in the fourth inning off Cubs pitcher Carlos Zambrano.

MARK REYNOLDS
Arizona Diamondbacks, 3B
Comment: Like Drew, Reynolds hit a home run in his first playoff game. He's a streaky hitter who is batting .333 in his first post-season series.

REGGIE WILLITS
Los Angeles Angels, OF
Comment: Willits looks in over his head in the playoffs thus far. You know the Angels are missing Gary Matthews big-time.

CHRIS B. YOUNG
Arizona Diamondbacks, OF
Comment: : His blend of speed and power figure to be a valuable tool to Arizona's success.

JEFF FRANCIS
Colorado Rockies, SP
Comment: Great start against the Phillies in Game 1 and the lefty combo of first baseman Ryan Howard and second baseman Chase Utley do not seem like they're going to figure Francis out anytime soon.

MIKE MUSSINA
New York Yankees, SP
Comment: Moose has been a solid post-season performer in his career and pitched a two-run, seven-plus inning gem against Cleveland earlier this season to earn the win.

CARLOS RUIZ
Philadelphia Phillies, C
Comment: Ruiz's poor end to the regular season is likely to carry over throughout the post-season. Just look at his 2007 season numbers against Colorado: .091 AVG, 0 HR, 1 RBI, 1 R, 0 SB in four games.

TONY CLARK
Arizona Diamondbacks, 1B
Comment: Has the potential to deliver a big home run, but his overall stat line is likely to be undesirable.

DUSTIN PEDROIA
Boston Red Sox, 2B
Comment: Manager Terry Francona may want to consider moving the rookie down the lineup in favor of a more experienced player.

JULIO LUGO
Boston Red Sox, SS
Comment: Failed to record his first post-season swiped bag on Wednesday when he was caught stealing. He's also striking out a ton.

ARAMIS RAMIREZ
Chicago Cubs, 3B
Comment: Don't expect Ramirez to bust out of his funk anytime soon. His .174 batting average against Arizona during the regular season does not signal a break-out.

BRAD HAWPE
Colorado Rockies, OF
Comment: Going hitless with three strikeouts is not the type of start you want to have to the post-season.

ALFONSO SORIANO
Chicago Cubs, OF
Comment: His 2-for-10 performance thus far against the Diamondbacks points to continued post-season failure.

PAUL BYRD
Cleveland Indians, SP
Comment: Gave up seven earned runs in just two innings pitched against the Yankees during the 2007 regular season and he's just 1-4 lifetime against New York with a 4.44 ERA in eight starts.

JAMIE MOYER
Philadelphia Phillies, SP
Comment: Moyer was a bust against the Rockies earlier in the season, when he gave up five ER in 5.2 IP in a loss.

Tampa Bay Devil Rays first baseman Carlos Pena has been a home run monster this season.

15 Hitless at-bats by the first four batters of the Philadelphia Phillies lineup in Game 1 of their NL Division Series against the Rockies. SS Jimmy Rollins, OF Shane Victorino, 2B Chase Utley and 1B Ryan Howard all couldn't muster anything against Colorado.

12 This season, Colorado Rockies OF Matt Holliday became just the 12th player in the last 50 years to generate 200 hits and 50 doubles in a season.

10.7 Average number of at-bats between home runs by Tampa Bay Devil Rays 1B Carlos Pena. He led all MLB players in the category, narrowly besting New York Yankees 3B Alex Rodriguez (who had a 10.8 at-bats per HR average).

5 Players, on both the New York Yankees and Colorado Rockies, who have hit 90 or more RBI in 2007. They are just the 18th and 19th ball-clubs to accomplish the feat in MLB history.
