STEVE NASH
Phoenix Suns, PG
Comment: Nash has averaged 20 points, 13 assists, 2.3 treys, and a .527 field goal percentage over the past week (four games). As he goes, so go the Suns. Even with all the in-team bickering going on, Nash has willed his team to keep on winning.
DWYANE WADE
Miami Heat, SG
Comment: Like Nash, D-Wade has posted monster numbers this past week: 31.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, 6.3 assists, a three and a steal in four games. With Shaquille O'Neal out, Wade will be asked to carry the load
CARON BUTLER
Washington Wizards, SF
Comment: Butler has averaged 21.6 points, 7.6 rebounds with 3.4 steals over last five games. Plus, he hasn't missed a free throw since Dec. 28, a span of 53 shots from the line over 11 games.
ZACH RANDOLPH
New York Knicks, PF
Comment: Randolph has averaged 20 point and 12 rebounds with 1.8 steals and .957 FT% over his past four games). With Marbury out, the Knicks are breathing a sigh of relief.
MARCUS CAMBY
Denver Nuggets, C
Comment: Camby continued with his unheard of production last week with 12.7 points, 16.3 rebounds, 1.7 steals and 5.7 blocks in three games. In roto leagues, he all but wins you blocks and rebounds.
JASON WILLIAMS
Miami Heat, PG
Comment: Williams has averaged 1.8 steals and treys per game, but only 10 points and 4.5 assists on .310 FG% over the past week (four games). Even with Shaquille O'Neal out, Williams remains a marginal starter at best.
RICKY WILLIAMS
Miami Heat, SG
Comment: You would think with a lineup as ineffective as the Heats, Davis would be the one of the focal points of the offense. He's not though. Davis shot a dissapointing 31 percent from the field last week (four games) and failed to exploit defenses keying in on Dwyane Wade.
QUENTIN RICHARDSON
New York Knicks, SF
Comment: Richardson has been a gigantic dissapointment. So much so that he has lost all fantasy value. He averaged just 7.5 points during four games last week — a trend we have seen all season long.
ANDREA BARGNANI
Toronto Raptors, PF
Comment: A small draft could put out the fire that is Bargnani: four points, 2.7 rebounds, and 0.3 with a .222 FG% over the past week (three games) does not bode well for fantasy owners. As the season wears on, his minutes are dissapearing.
JERMAINE O'NEAL
Indiana Pacers, C
Comment: O'Neal played in just one game over past week and did almost nothing. He's potentially out for the rest of the season. Don't drop him just yet, but don't hold your breath on him coming back anytime soon.
BARON DAVIS
Golden State Warriors, PG
Comment: Davis is still blistering and keeping up that guady field goal percentage. He's having a career season and is a must start.
DERON WILLIAMS
Utah Jazz, PG
Comment: Williams is pouring in plenty of assists and still leading the Jazz. Their out of the playoff picture for now, but with Boozer and Williams on a tear this could change at any time.
ALLEN IVERSON
Denver Nuggets, SG
Comment: Iverson has stepped up his game considerably as the Nuggets vie for a central position in the Western Conference. Key to his roto game is the two steals he averages.
JOSH HOWARD
Dallas Mavericks, SG
Comment: With Dirk Nowitzki having consistency troubles, Howard has stepped up as the main man in Dallas. Coach Avery Johnson no longer has them caring about regular season records, and they seem to have hit some rough spots. Still, Howard has played incredibly.
JOSH SMITH
Atlanta Hawks, SF
Comment: Smith might be the best player you've never heard of. Even stuck on an abysmal Hawks team, he's a walking highlight reel. His play recently has been off the charts. Start him.
RON ARTEST
Sacramento Kings, SF
Comment: With Mike Bibby back in the lineup, Artest is an even better fantasy option. Artest has had his share of problems, but he's a must start this week.
ANTWAN JAMISON
Washington Wizards, PF
Comment: Jamison enjoyed a blistering week along with Caron Butler to hold the Wizards afloat till Gilbert Arenas comes back. That includes beating Boston twice.
DAVID WEST
New Orleans Hornets, PF
Comment: West emerged last season as a legitimate rebounder and scorer. This season he has legitimized those claims, building on the Hornets into one of the top teams of the West.
DWIGHT HOWARD
Orlando Magic, C
Comment: Howard's playing like a young Shaquille O'Neal — only thin. He's a beast on the boards, and if you can stomach his achy free throw shooting, he doesn't have a weak spot in his whole game.
TYSON CHANDLER
New Orleans Hornets, C
Comment: Chandler is the unsung hero of the New Orleans Hornets. He cleans up around the hoop and picks up rebounds. He's also an unsung fantasy hero; start him.
MO WILLIAMS
Milwaukee Bucks, PG
Comment: Until Williams proves that finger injury is no longer bothering him, then keep him bench. He's only doing harm to your field goal percentages right now.
JAMEER NELSON
Orlando Magic, PG
Comment: Nelson has a strained right foot and will be out for a little while. Consider Carlos Arroyo a viable fantasy option for the time being, even if he hasn't played very well.
LUOL DENG
Chicago Bulls, SG
Comment: Deng will be out at least three weeks with a sore achilles tendon. These injuries tend to reappear, so don't be surprised if Deng is limited the rest of the season.
TIM THOMAS
Los Angeles Clippers, SG
Comment: Thomas has provided little other than the occasional scoring burst on an otherwise poor Los Angeles Clippers team. He has no fantasy value, especially with Sam Cassell back.
QUENTIN RICHARDSON
Los Angeles Lakers, SF
Comment: Q-Rich should be dropped immediately. He has no value on the Knicks, no matter how good he once was.
SHANE BATTIER
Houston Rockets, SF
Comment: After proving himself a worthy fantasy baller for so many years, Battier has struggled under coach Rick Adelman's system. His numbers and percentages are down.
ANDREA BARGNANI
Toronto Raptors, PF
Comment: This former No. 1 pick is playing less and less these days. Don't expect him to start piling on the minutes anytime soon. Sit him.
CHRIS WILCOX
Los Angeles Clippers, PF
Comment: Wilcox is out with a left shin injury for now. It's day-to-day, but don't expect him to be 100 percent this week.
ANDREW BYNUM
Los Angeles Lakers, C
Comment: Bynum is out for at least eight weeks with a sore knee. Plan on benching him; he's too valuable to drop.
JERMAINE O'NEAL
Indiana Pacers, C
Comment: O'Neal is out indefinatly. He has little value unless he gets traded anyway. He hasn't played well this season after demanding a trade during the off-season.
