Our weekly digest of everything fantasy basketball. Facts don't lie and the Hoop Scoop is full of 'em. Projections for the week of April 7-13. Stats through April 4:

JASON TERRY
Dallas Mavericks, PG
Comment: Although it seemed like Terry's role with the team would diminish after acquiring Jason Kidd from the Nets, the point guard would have none of that. He has been on fire and has scored at least 14 points in five of his last six games. Terry should be considered in all leagues while on his current rampage and while Kidd is stinking up the joint.

DAMIEN WILKINS
Seattle Sonics, SG
Comment: Wilkins continues to play well and is a solid option if you need a shooting guard down the stretch. Keep him active if you can and don't be scared off by his recent absence from practices (personal reasons).

TRAVIS OUTLAW
Portland Trail Blazers, SF
Comment: Outlaw has been playing well as of late and looks like he may have earned his way back into the starting lineup in Portland. He has scored twenty points in three of the last four games and is looking like a great fantasy option at the moment. Odds are that someone already has him, but if not you need to go out and get him now for the final stretch.

DAVID LEE
New York Knicks, PF
Comment: Even though the Knicks are a cellar dweller in the East, Lee is one of the few players on the Knicks that still plays with passion. That passion was on display Wednesday night as Lee finished with 19 points and 10 rebounds in an embarrassing loss to Memphis. He'll continue to get minutes and should be in your lineup.

JOSH POWELL
Los Angeles Clippers, C
Comment: Chris Kaman's season is likely over, and Powell is finally getting his chance to show why he deserves playing time. He certainly stated his case on Wednesday night, finishing the game with eight points and 11 rebounds. If you were a Kaman owner or if you own any other of the other inconsistent centers, give the young guy a chance. It's worth the risk.
CARLOS ARROYO
Orlando Magic, PG
Comment: Arroyo has been a big disappointment in recent time for the Magic, never playing with any consistency. In his last few games, he has acted like everything but a quality fantasy player and averaged a mere six points per game. Get rid of him and take a chance on someone else the last couple of weeks.

DANIEL GIBSON
Cleveland Cavaliers, SG
Comment: The good news for the Cleveland Cavaliers is that Gibson is still young. He showed flashes of brilliance earlier in his career, but the consistency just hasn't really been there this season. Over his last ten games, he is averaging just over seven points per game, which is less than what people expect out of him. Hopefully he will be better next season.

GRANT HILL
Phoenix Suns
Comment: Grant Hill is another classic example of a guy who was hotter earlier in the season, but as the season continued began to show signs of the wear and tear. He has only averaged eight points per game over his last ten, and there are people putting up better results at the moment at his position.

AL HARRINGTON
Golden State Warriors, PF
Comment: Harrington is picking a bad time to go into a slump. Wednesday night he was unable to get it going, much like the rest of his team, as he scored just six points. He has double digits only once in his last four games and is playing his way out of the starting lineup. Bench him if you have other options.

MARCUS CAMBY
Denver Nuggets, C
Comment: Camby has been a solid fantasy player for most of the season, but over his last ten games, his production has really started to take a turn in the wrong direction. In that span he is only averaging a mere nine points per game, while he continues to block and rebound. If the Nuggets want to make the playoffs, they are going to need their big man to score some more.

GILBERT ARENAS
Washington Wizards, PG
Comment: Arenas shocked the world when he came out and returned on Wednesday for the Wizards. He finished the game with 16 points on 5-9 shooting from the field. If he doesn't have any swelling and proves that he can stay in the lineup, he could be a great option. Go check if he's available. It's definitely worth the risk.

MIKE BIBBY
Atlanta Hawks, PG
Comment: The trade really does seem like it has done a lot of good for Bibby's fantasy production. On Wednesday, he may have had his best game as a Hawk, finishing with 26 points, 12 assists and six rebounds. He's not playing too bad for a guy that only has one good leg. Keep him in your lineup until he breaks down.

DEVIN BROWN
Cleveland Cavaliers
Comment: Brown has been a nice surprise in recent games for the Cavaliers, and has scored in the double figures in points in three of his last six games. Even though he is averaging a mere seven points per game on the season, he could be a candidate to get some minutes down the stretch with Cleveland guaranteed a spot. Give him a shot if you can.

MARKO JARIC
Minnesota Timberwolves, SG
Comment: Jaric scored 18 points in Wednesday's game for the Timberwolves and is playing very well in the absence of Sebastian Telfair, whose season looks like it is very much over. Jaric has now scored in the double figures in five of his last six games, and is a very intriguing option going down the stretch. If you are looking to take a chance, he's your man.

LUOL DENG
Chicago Bulls, SF
Comment: Deng has finally proven that he's healthy and is putting up the numbers that fantasy owners knew he was capable of all along. While averaging 17.2 points on the season, Deng makes a solid No. 3 fantasy forward. Put him in your lineup while he is going well.

PAU GASOL
Los Angeles Lakers, F
Comment: Gasol returned and he is healthy. In his first game back, the big man showed no ill affects from the injury that kept him out. He finished with 10 points, six rebounds and seven assists for the Lakers. As we come down the stretch, he is a fine play. Don't worry about his health. Much like Andrew Bynum, the Lakers are being careful.

ELTON BRAND
Los Angeles Clippers, PF
Comment: Brand finally made his season debut on Wednesday and looked like he had been playing the whole season, finishing with 19 points in the contest. It is likely that the Clippers coaching staff will get him as much playing time as possible in the last week, so make sure he is in your starting lineups immediately.

KENYON MARTIN
Denver Nuggets, PF
Comment: I have noticed some teams making the mistake of cutting Martin with one week remaining in the season because he got suspended. Calm down people. He was suspended for one game, and the Nuggets even have a game on the following day. Martin will serve the suspension on Saturday, so bench him for one game, but activate him for Sunday.

RASHO NESTEROVIC
Toronto Raptors, C
Comment: What a pickup this guy has been for the owners that may have given him a chance two weeks ago. In his last 18 games, dating back to March 2, Nesterovic has finished in double digits in scoring in 15 of them, a staggering number considering his production prior to that time. If you need a center, he is an excellent option right now. Start him.

KWAME BROWN
Memphis Grizzlies, C
Comment: Yes, you are reading that right. There was a Kwame Brown sighting on Wednesday as Memphis beat the Knicks quite easily. Brown finished the game with 11 points and eight rebounds, but more importantly Darko Milicic left the game with an apparent shoulder injury, and if his injury is serious, Brown could be useful down the stretch.

BENO UDRIH
Sacramento Kings, PG
Comment: Udrih continues to tell people that he will be back before the end of the season, but personally, I have a hard time believing it. He has been out for the last nine games, and his back continues to aggravate him and there is really no reason for the Kings to risk any further injury. Bench him, and even if he returns, he'll likely be less then 100 percent. Stay away.

MO WILLIAMS
Milwaukee Bucks, PG
Comment: Williams has been struggling mightily as of late, and his minutes are being cut because of it. In fact, in the last four games, he has not exceeded 30 minutes played. While he is struggling, his minutes are going to be taken away. He may be the starting point guard, but he is a dud right now when it comes to fantasy basketball.

MARTELL WEBSTER
Portland Trail Blazers, SG
Comment: Webster scored 23 points on Wednesday for the Trail Blazers but he has been way too inconsistent to be a fantasy option right now. Also, there is really no need to get excited about Webster, because Brandon Roy is going to make his return to the lineup early this week. Don't do anything crazy. Stay away from him unless you're desperate.

ANTAWN JAMISON
Washington Wizards, SG
Comment: Jamison was seen walking around with a sling on his right arm after the game last night as he is now suffering from what the Wizards are calling a sprained right shoulder. As of right now, it looks like he is going to miss a few games, which means it is time to test some of the other alternatives, like maybe someone who is getting more minutes on another team.

SHAWN MARION
Miami Heat, SF
Comment: I don't know what they put in the water in Miami, but it looks like their best player is going to be out for the remainder of the season. He is going to go under the same treatment that Dwayne Wade went on for reoccurring planter fasciitis. It was a no brainer for Miami to shut him down, considering what they are playing for, so drop him now.

DREW GOODEN
Chicago Bulls, SF
Comment: Gooden had a decent season overall, considering that he averaged 12 points and 9 rebounds per game. The reason I am referring to his season in the past tense is because he is nursing a strained lower abdomen, and the Bulls see no reason to push him. He fit well into their season since being acquired from the Cavs. Drop him.

BRANDON BASS
Dallas Mavericks, PF
Comment: Bass has had a couple of good games, but overall just isn't providing enough to be considered a viable option to start in fantasy as a Power Forward. For now, I think you need to look elsewhere while Bass develops and then one day, he may be an asset to your team, just not now.

YI JIANLIAN
Indiana Pacers, PF
Comment: Yi was scheduled to have an MRI today to see what the severity of his right knee sprain is. Fantasy players expected more out of him this season, but were let down by his lack of production. There is no reason to wait him out. Throw him into free agency, and maybe think about using a late round pick on him next season.

ANDREW BYNUM
Los Angeles Lakers, C
Comment: Well, the saga continues. Bynum has done plenty of activities with the team and on his own, but the Lakers continue to take their time with him, because they don't need to rush him, considering they are in a comfortable position in the playoff hunt. Unless your league plays during playoff time, it is time to ditch the big man for a better option.

BEN WALLACE
Cleveland Cavaliers, C
Comment: I believe this is the first three time member of the sit em section of Hoop Scoop. Wallace has been awful in fantasy this year and should be rotting on the waiver wire as we speak. Also, he has been aggravated by back spasms which keep on coming back and aching him. Do yourself a favor and ignore him, even if you need a spot on your team filled.

Michael Ganci is UPDATE! Basketball Editor.

13 The number of times that the New York Knicks have lost in their last 15 games.

10 The Mavericks had 10 losses in 10 games against winning teams since the Jason Kidd trade until their victory against Golden State Wednesday.

9 The number of times that Gilbert Arenas has scored double figures in a game this season (he's only played nine games.)

5 The number of total minutes played by Jerome James this season. He makes 5.8 million this season. Not bad. I'd play for a million per minute.

BOBBY SIMMONS
Milwaukee Bucks, SF
Comment: This is definitely someone that is worth keeping an eye on. He may be the person who benefits the most from the injury that was suffered by Yi Jianlian. He has now scored in double figures in two straight contests, and will get consistent minutes as the season draws to a close. Use your discretion but watch closely.
SUNS @ NUGGETS

Tuesday, April 8 SuperSonics @ Mavericks 8:30 PM ET
What a matchup we have here as Kevin Durant, probably the NBA's rookie of the year, gets to face off with the likes of Jason Kidd, Dirk Nowitski and Co. I think that the Mavericks will have plenty of firepower and will be able to overcome the phenom rookie. Despite what many say, I still think the Mavericks will make the playoffs, but this game definitely has major implication. Only time will tell.
