POSTED 10-25-07

Our weekly digest of everything fantasy football. Facts don't lie and The Huddle is full of 'em. Projections for the week of Oct. 26-Oct. 29. Stats through Oct. 24:

TOM BRADY
New England Patriots, QB
Comment: It seems like he's on the hot list every week, but for good reason. Last week he threw a career high SIX touchdowns and had 354 yards; this guy is on pace to throw 62 TDs this year. Enjoy watching history each week, this could go down as one of the finest seasons a quarterback has ever put together.

WILLIS MCGAHEE
Baltimore Ravens, RB
Comment: McGahee rushed 19 times for 114 yards and a touchdown last week against his former team. Unfortunately for him, the Ravens are on a bye week so he can't roll that momentum over.

TORRY HOLT
St. Louis Rams, WR
Comment: Big-Game-Torry-Holt caught eight passes for 82 yards last week; expect him to get even hotter next week against a very weak Cleveland secondary.

DALLAS CLARK
Indianapolis Colts, TE
Comment: Clark has scored a touchdown in five straight games. The last time he didn't find the end zone was Week 1.

ROB BIRONAS
Tennessee Titans, K
Comment: He set a record with eight field goals in one game and also most points scored by a kicker, with 26. How can you not like that?

New York Giants
Defense
Comment: Their defense practically won the game against the Redskins on Sunday.

CHAD PENNINGTON
New York Jets, QB
Comment: It also seems like he's on this list every week, but for good reason. He did manage to throw for 272 yards and three touchdowns, but he still found a way to blow the game. The Kellen Clemens era isn't far away — fact.

BRIAN WESTBROOK
Philadelphia Eagles, RB
Comment: Westbrook hasn't scored a touchdown since Week 3 against the Lions. Chances are he won't light up the Vikings in Minnesota, so expect the Iggles to fall down a slippery slope.

ANQUAN BOLDIN
Arizona Cardinals, WR
Comment: Boldin caught eight passes for 29 yards last week. Granted, two of them were touchdowns, but he's not getting the yardage a receiver of his caliber should.

CHRIS COOLEY
Washington Redskins, TE
Comment: Cooley only caught one pass for three yards last week. He was supposed to stay back and block, too bad he can't even do that right.

JAY FEELY
Miami Dolphins, K
Comment: It's not entirely his fault, Miami's offense hasn't been right all season. You can't blame the kicker when the offense doesn't move the ball.

Houston Texans
Defense
Comment: The offense did their part in coming back from a blowout, the defense just couldn't hold up.

DEREK ANDERSON
Cleveland Browns, QB
Comment: Jamal Lewis might not play, so the Browns will be throwing a lot. They're playing the Rams who are not very good on defense. Put two and two together and expect Anderson to have a great day fantasy-wise.

ELI MANNING
New York Giants, QB
Comment: Eli is playing a defense that gives opposing quarterbacks an average rating of over 110. Expect Eli to find Plax, Shockey and maybe even Toomer in the end zone overseas.

LADANIAN TOMLINSON
San Diego Chargers, RB
Comment: Going into last week's bye, LT had over 200 all-purpose yards and four touchdowns against the Raiders. Expect that to light a fire under him this week against the Texans, no pun intended.

ADRIAN PETERSON
Minnesota Vikings, RB
Comment: Expect Peterson to run all over the worn-down Eagles D. The Eagles let Brian Griese drive 97 yards in minutes, there's no way they'll stop AP.

PLAXICO BURRESS
New York, WR
Comment: He's going against the Dolphins defense; Plax might put on a show overseas and score upwards of three or four touchdowns.

STEVE SMITH
Carolina Panthers, WR
Comment: Smith is notorious for having phenomenal games after a bye week. He has 350 yards the past two seasons in the two games after the bye week.

JEREMY SHOCKEY
New York Giants, TE
Comment: Shockey is going to expose the weak Miami secondary and become a household name overseas.

KELLEN WINLSOW
Cleveland Browns, TE
Comment: He's going against the Rams this week, smart money is on him having a great day.

LAWRENCE TYNES
New York Giants, K
Comment: So far, he's been a disgrace to the initials, but expect him to come back strong this week when the G-Men crush the Dolphins. He'll have plenty of kicking opportunities in London.

STEPHEN GOSTKOWSKI
New England Patriots, K
Comment: His Pats are going to crush the lowly Redskins and he'll get plenty of extra points.

NEW YORK GIANTS
Defense
Comment: The G-Men are going to put on a show in London and make lemonade out of Cleo.

New England Patriots
Defense
Comment: The Pats will eat Campbell alive and make short work of him.

CHAD PENNINGTON
New York Jets, QB
Comment: We aren't too far away from seeing Kellen Clemens under center and taking snaps. This could be the week that Chad gets yanked.

JASON CAMPBELL
Washington Redskins, QB
Comment: If Revolution couldn't muster up 100 passing yards against Arizona, what do you think he's going to do against the undefeated Pats?

FRANK GORE
San Francisco 49ers, RB
Comment: His team is playing the Saints who, contrary to popular belief, are 12th against the run. Plus, he's playing on a gimpy ankle so he's not the guy you want starting on your fantasy squad.

CLINTON PORTIS
Washington Redskins, RB
Comment: Redskins against the Patriots...start Portis and be prepared to suffer the consequences.

CHAD JOHNSON
Cincinnati Bengals, WR
Comment: He hasn't caught a touchdown since Week 2. The Steelers D is tough and the secondary will shut Ocho Cinco down.

MUSHIN MUHAMMAD
Chicago Bears, WR
Comment: Expect a big letdown from his 14-point game last week. Muhammad will not put up great numbers against the Lions and you should avoid him at all costs.

DONALD LEE
Green Bay Packers, TE
Comment: Don't expect Lee to have a great day against the Broncos, especially with Bubba Franks back in the lineup.

CHRIS COOLEY
Washington Redskins, TE
Comment: It's the classic Redskins against the Patriots logic, works every time. Keep him as far away from the starting position as you possibly can.

JOHN KASAY
Carolina Panthers, K
Comment: If David Carr is back, don't expect Kasay to get may kicking opportunities.

KRIS BROWN
Houston Texans, K
Comment: Don't expect Brown to get many kicks against the re-charged Chargers.

WASHINGTON REDSKINS
Defense
Comment: The Redskins do not have a chance at stopping any of the Patriots. You'd be a fool to start the 'Skins D.

HOUSTON TEXANS
Defense
Comment: The Texans do not have a chance at stopping LT. You'd be a fool to start their D.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jeff Garcia has yet to throw an interception this season.

200 Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jeff Garcia has not thrown an interception in his last 200-plus attempts.

38 New England Patriots QB Tom Brady and Indianapolis Colts QB Peyton Manning have 38 touchdowns — and only four interceptions combined this year.

24 The NY Giants defense has 24 sacks in their last four games.

6 New York Jets quarterback Chad Pennington has thrown six interceptions in his last three games.

ROB BIRONAS
Tennessee Titans, K
Comment: Who saw this coming? Rob Bironas kicked eight field goals and set the scoring record for a kicker at 24.

CHAD JOHNSON
vs. Pittsburgh Defense
Comment: Will Ocho Cinco get the best of Palamalu and co.? Will he have a new end zone dance? Only time will tell, but this will definitely be one of the better Sunday matchups.

LADANIAN TOMLINSON
vs. Texans Defense
Comment: Let's see if LT can rush for over 300 yards. There's a very good chance he might do it against the Texans bush-league defense.

TOM BRADY
vs. Redskins Defense
Comment: Will he break his personal best six touchdowns in one game? You never know. Washington's defense has not allowed a lot of points this year. This could be the week where New England's offense gets smacked back to reality. Stranger things have happened.

RONNIE BROWN
Miami Browns, RB
Comment: Brown has been placed on the IR. Lucky for him, he won't have to play for the Dolphins anymore this season.

DAVID GARRARD
Jacksonville Jaguars, QB
Comment: Garrard could be out for over a month with a left ankle sprain. Coach Jack Del Rio said that he would likely miss three-to-four games.

TRENT GREEN
Miami Dolphins, QB
Comment: He's on the IR. Much like the Dolphins, his season is over.

TRAVIS HENRY
Denver Broncos, RB
Comment: Henry did not practice on Wednesday and Mike Shanahan said that Travis was, "a little sore." He is listed as day-to-day and probably will be a game time decision.

BENJAMIN WATSON
New England Patriots, TE
Comment: Watson did not practice on Wednesday and, according to team reports, it seems unlikely that he will play on Sunday.

GIANTS vs. DOLPHINS

Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET (FOX-TV)
This will be the first NFL regular season game not played on American soil. It should make for an interesting match-up; we'll see if the Giants defense is for real and find out if Plaxico Burress gets to skip practice on another continent as well.
