N.Y. Giants vs. Miami at London
Comment: Another trap game for the G-men. I can't say I'm not afraid for them going up against the winless Dolphins in a strange environment. But really, they're playing too well on both sides of the ball, and Miami is a mess.THE PICK: Giants 31, Dolphins 17
Indianapolis at Carolina
Comment: Early in the season I might have tagged this as an upset, but not now. Not only are the Colts playing efficiently on offense, their defense has been lights out. And just who is starting at QB for the Panthers?THE PICK: Colts 31, Panthers 14
Detroit at Chicago
Comment: Brian Griese has the Bears revitalized, and even though the Lions are playing well so far, I can't pick them on the road
against Chicago.THE PICK: Bears 20, Lions 17
Pittsburgh at Cincinnati
Comment: The fact that the Bengals have no defense is going to suck when they are trying to stop Willie Parker and Big Ben. And their offense hasn't shown enough to be able to keep up.THE PICK: Steelers 28, Bengals 20
Philadelphia at Minnesota
Comment: Has anyone see Tarvaris Jackson play? He's the second coming of Ryan Leaf. So Kelly Holcomb will likely start, and the Vikes have a good defense. But the Eagles are hot and cold and it's their week to be hot.THE PICK: Eagles 20, Vikings 10
Cleveland at St. Louis
Comment: Sorry Browns fans, but the Rams are due to win one and this is going to be it, at home with Steven Jackson returning. Look for Jeff Wilkins to win this one at the buzzer, though.THE PICK: Rams 30, Browns 28
Oakland at Tennessee
Comment: The Titans escaped Houston with a win last weekend and the Raiders lost a heartbreaker at home to the Chiefs. Jeff Fisher has got to have his boys motivated, because even though they are 4-2 they could easily be 2-4.THE PICK: Titans 27, Raiders 20.
Buffalo at N.Y. Jets
Comment: Chad Pennington has shown flashes of brilliance even though he's been an overall disappointment, as has this Jets team. But they're going to get back on track this week at home against Buffalo.THE PICK: Jets 24, Bills 16
Houston at San Diego
Comment: It's still up in the air where this game will be played, but I think the Chargers will be inspired. That, and Houston is
really banged up.THE PICK: Chargers 28, Texans 17
Jacksonville at Tampa Bay
Comment: The defensive special of the week. I'm not going out on a limb here by saying there will be no touchdowns scored in this game. Fantasy nation, don't start anyone but kickers or defenses here.THE PICK: Bucs 9, Jaguars 6
Washington at New England
Comment: To hear Joe Gibbs talk, he's pretty much conceded this game already. Or is it a ploy? Does it matter when the Patriots are this good? Nope.THE PICK: Patriots 30, Redskins 10
New Orleans at San Francisco
Comment: The Saints are coming back to life, and the Niners are a major disappointment. I'm going to say this again. Watch out for the Saints...they are a game or two from being right back in the playoff race.THE PICK: Saints 20, Niners 13
Green Bay at Denver
Comment: Check this out. If the Rockies win Game 3 or 4 of the World Series, Game 5 will be Monday night in Denver, at the same time the Broncos are hosting the Packers on MNF. Talk about insanity. And by the way, Denver is playing better now after having their bye week.THE PICK: Broncos 27, Packers 23
