There are rotisserie heroes and fantasy goats. But some performances are so ugly, egregious or plain perplexing that it begs the refrain: What the F--k! Here is Update’s seriously twisted moment this week.
POSTED 1-15-07 So much for the history books, Ohio State. With a bevy of first-day NFL draft picks playing their final game as Buckeyes, Ohio State let its guard down and let slip its grasp on a historic wire-to-wire national championship football season. OK, you knew about the Heisman jinx. Super quarterback Troy Smith spent the night running for his life as the Florida Gators defense made Mr. Heisman look like Mr. Softy. The result was an eye-opening 41-14 Florida victory. Yet the biggest blow had to be the loss of Ted Ginn Jr. The dynamic junior wideout scored in the Alamo Bowl as a freshman and in the Fiesta Bowl a year ago. There's no doubt about his big-game ability. After uncorking a 93-yard kickoff return to open the game with a flourish, Ginn hurt his left foot celebrating in the end zone and did not return. That earns a big WTF!
